Dallas, TX – Catalyst Health Network and the Methodist Patient-Centered ACO (MPCACO) today announced the completion of a new collaboration agreement between the two organizations, as MPCACO joins Catalyst’s fast-growing list of affiliated healthcare organizations. MPCACO is affiliated with Methodist Health System, which is comprised of seven hospitals and an array of other outpatient care sites throughout North Texas. The organization will work with Catalyst’s independent physician network to enhance delivery of higher quality care while improving overall costs.

“The addition of Methodist adds to our growing list of affiliate relationships that will enable Catalyst’s independent physicians to enhance care for patients,” said Dr. Christopher Crow, president, Catalyst Health Network. “Methodist joins other hospitals, specialist groups and ancillary service providers committed to improving the continuity of care.”

“We are excited to work with Catalyst Health Network and its physicians to improve the overall population health in North Texas,” said Dr. Melissa Gerdes, MPCACO Board Chair, vice president and CMO Outpatient Services, Methodist Health System. “Healthcare must continue to enhance quality and customer experience, and must do both at a lower price point. We believe our affiliation with Catalyst will be accretive to accomplishment of those objectives at Methodist.”
